Apt year-ender film!

This movie got me reflect on social relationships, leadership, values and sticking to and achieving your dreams. Plus siyempre women empowerment :)

"Separate and equal are two different things" (Hidden Figures, 2016)

- Andami kong heart check moments while watching.
- Many people at the background are geniuses. But they remain unseen.
- ‎Sometimes we are only after what people should deliver forgetting that these are humans --- they have needs, struggles, feelings, ambitions, dreams, families
- ‎People will try to close doors for the qualified simply because they don't want them
- ‎Stereotyping is systemic and there has to be a collective and sustained effort to put an end to this. "We all pee the same color!" (Hidden Figures, 2016)
- ‎I love how Katherine made reason prevail over emotion pagdating sa pag-ibig! Hindi siya nagpapatinag sa mga lalaki!
- ‎At hindi hadlang ang galing at career sa love life! But the right person and timing are always important :D
- Men should apologize to women for underestimating them, and may I add, vice versa hehe. No one should underestimate anyone.
- ‎Our work is not just about us bringing money to our homes or satisfying ourselves, it could also be about making history or creating a better life for others
- ‎Do your job well in a way that people will never forget!
- ‎Gusto ko yung "call your wives and tell them what it's gonna be". Because work commitment is not just about the husband, it's about both of them, again add ko lang hehe same is true with the wife. Work life is never separate from personal life :)
- ‎Women have dreams, too! Andami kaya naming gustong gawin :D
- ‎Husbands will have an important role to play in affirming their wives and pushing them to achieve their dreams
- ‎Don't let fear interfere with your dreams. Society may not be prepared for your dream so you have to fight for it!
- ‎The leader should take a stand for his people no matter how inconvenient and unconventional that could be.
- ‎Protect your people, bring them to the direction you're going, champion them.

At madami pa, ito lang kinaya ko :)

P.S Naiyak ako dun sa proposal pero mas nakakaiyak yung acknowledgement sa galing ng kababaihan!
